Evaluation Options:
Comprehensive Evaluation
A full speech and language assessment that explores a wide range of communication areas.
Includes a written report with diagnosis (if applicable), therapy goals, and individualized recommendations.
Speech-Only Evaluation (Articulation/Phonology)
Designed for children with isolated speech sound concerns (e.g., speech clarity, difficulty with certain consonants).
Includes assessment, a summary report, and a therapy plan if warranted.
Areas that may be assessed:
Speech sound development (articulation, phonology)
Receptive language (understanding and processing spoken language)
Expressive language (using words and sentences to communicate)
Social communication (pragmatic language and interaction skills)
Fluency (e.g., stuttering)
Early communication and play skills
Pre-literacy and literacy-related skills (such as phonological awareness and language-based reading challenges)
Ongoing therapy services focused on building speech, language, and communication skills across home, school, and social settings.
Each session is 30-45 minutes and includes a combination of:
Direct therapy focused on individualized goals (e.g., speech sounds, language, social communication)
Optional caregiver consultation to support practice at home and in daily routines
Ongoing goal development and progress monitoring to ensure meaningful progress
Home strategies and resources to encourage carryover between sessions
With expertise as both a speech therapist and former school counselor, Moxie Speech Therapy supports families in confidently navigating school-based services.
One-on-one consultations help parents prepare for IEP meetings, review documents, and better understand the supports their child may need at school. These sessions are designed to offer clarity, not overwhelm.
These consults are not advocacy services, but rather a supportive and empowering space for caregivers looking to understand and take part in the process.

Virtual sessions (approx. 60 minutes)

We offer both in-person sessions and teletherapy to best meet the needs of your family. In-person sessions take place at our clinic inside The Denver Village—a warm, wellness-focused community space located in NE Denver. Teletherapy sessions are also available for families throughout Colorado who prefer the convenience and flexibility of virtual care.
Moxie Speech Therapy is proud to be in-network with Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program), helping ensure that services are accessible to families who qualify.
We also provide early intervention services through Rocky Mountain Human Services, North Metro Community Services, and Envision, supporting infants and toddlers through Colorado’s Early Intervention program.
For all other insurance plans, we are considered out-of-network and operate as a private pay practice. Superbills can be provided upon request for families who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider.
This model allows us to offer personalized, high-quality care without the limitations often placed by insurance networks—ensuring that each child receives the time, attention, and therapy approach that fits their unique needs.
